Jose Mourinho Talks Amid Ivan Perisic Rumours

Manchester United are reportedly set to make another attempt to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic this week.

The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to make a new bid for the 28-year-old Croatia worldwide, who has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford all summer.

But when pushed, Mourinho detailed his ideal fourth signing: "Obviously the [final] 25 per cent would be a player for another position playing from the sides, but we have players, and if we cannot strengthen the team in these areas, we have people we can trust and go for it".

The Red Devils have seen a number of bids rejected by Inter, as their new coach Spalletti looks adamant to keep Perisic.

Manchester United were unwilling to allow Anthony Martial to join Inter as a makeweight in the deal.

Croatia worldwide Perisic looks set to stay at Inter after the Serie A side refused to budge from their £48.5 million valuation when he was linked with a move to United.

Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in at least one more new addition before the window shuts on August 31 and has not ended his pursuit of Perisic, according to M.E.N. Sport.

However, Bale started the match and Mourinho admitted defeat afterwards, saying: "I think the club clearly wants him, the manager wants him and he wants the club so it's game over, even before it's started". I want them to win trophies for the Interisti, and when I say Interisti what I mean is us.
