LG V30 Plus said to launch alongside V30

LG did that with the G6 and is on the way of doing it with the V30 as well - only the North-American version of the G6 got wireless charging, whereas only the Asian variation of the G6 got Hi-Fi audio on board, which quite possibly irritated a ton of potential adopters.

According to an ET News report, the difference between the LG V30 and the LG V30 Plus is not their physical size but their internal storage. Sources indicate that LG will be introducing slightly different features on each handset, which will respectively clock in at 64GB and 128GB capacities.

The publication further claims that both LG V30 and V30 Plus will go on sale from September 15.

LG's optimism is commendable, but it doesn't seem too confident with its plans for LG V30 Plus.

We wish that LG V30 camera phone launches soon and becomes one of the great best sellers, giving competition to big smartphone players like Apple, Samsung, Sony, Moto and others. We know this phone will boast an aperture never before seen in smartphones, but the sum total of its features is still up for speculation. While the LG V30 is pegged to have a price of $700, the LG V30 Plus will cost about $875.

There were several reports that suggested that the smartphone might be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 836 system-on-chip, through collaboration with Qualcomm. but later it was confirmed that LG had signed this up for the sake of its 2018 flagship smartphones. It will be going head to head with rival Samsung that day, which is also when the Galaxy Note 8 will hit the market in the country. However, this is the first time that LG will launch the base version of a smartphone and its Plus variant at the same time.

LG has started sending out press invites for the launch event of its flagship phone LG V30.

The LG V30 was previously leaked in promo videos that were uploaded in HitRecord, the collaborative website that was created by prominent LG partner Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Moreover, both phones will have the same display, processor, RAM, cameras, battery and IP68 rating.
