"But when it comes to phone features the needs are the same; long battery life, robust build quality, and high quality voice functionality", commented Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global. If the Nokia devices released by HMD Global earlier this year are any indication, the U.S. price tag of the upcoming flagship will be identical to the European figure, i.e. the handset may only set you back $599, thus being one of the more affordable premium Android devices on the market. So far, HMD-owned Nokia has launched a number of handsets such as Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 and is working on adding more devices to its smartphone portfolio. Certainly if the current, lower-tier models are getting the jump up to the new OS then we can be pretty sure the premium models will too! It is also expected to have a fingerprint scanner. The phone's actual release will likely happen at a later date a few weeks later, plenty of time to get things ready on the software front. Going by the invite sent out by the Finland based company, the smartphone will be finally coming on August 16.

Retailing at $17.50 for the dual SIM and $16.50 for single SIM in Cambodia, the Nokia 105 will be available in blue, white and black - each colour with a matte finish. Nokia's branding is seen on both sides of the smartphone in recently leaked renders, with some insiders claiming that the upcoming flagship will be IP68-certified. There's a chance the phone will run Android 8.0 out of the gate, according to this newly discovered Geekbench entry. One aspect that remains to be clarified is the software that will power the Nokia 8. The two 13-megapixel sensors have been produced and calibrated by Carl Zeiss and support 4K video capture and optical image stabilization (OIS), though it's currently unclear whether the German optics company also handled the 13-megapixel secondary camera housed by the top bezel of the Nokia 8. Ahead of its launch, we have seen a new Nokia 2 smartphone with its prototype model images. Nokia 8 phone details almost have been leaked. Hence, the Nokia 8 is one of the most awaited smartphones of this year.

True to HMD's word, the Nokia 6 has now arrived in the US via Amazon. It also runs Android O, which is unexpected for a phone that's not even official. The smartphone has appeared times with Unknown Heart label on Geekbench.
