Game of Thrones S07E05: Is [spoiler] going to betray Daenerys?

After Game Of Thrones Season 7 episode 4 is over with Drogon the dragon attacked Jamie Lannister.

Game Of Thrones could have featured an unlikely-sounding love triangle between Arya Stark, Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister. This post contains spoilers from Season 7 and *potentially* beyond, but like Jon Snow, we know nothing.

Terri Schwartz is Editorial Producer at IGN. We imagined something more gruesome or glorious.

Since the other two figures have a circular symbol between them, fans on Reddit are speculating that they could stand-in for Jon and Daenerys, and the symbol notes their linked destinies.

In this week's episode, Daenerys Targaryen finally got stuck in with the Westeros war and burnt the Lannister army to a crisp.

With no signs of Jaime and Bronn in the pictures, here we have Daenerys and Tyrion sharing an intense look at something. We know that Jon Snow is the son of Daenerys' brother Rhaegar, which means she is his aunt and not his sister.

HBO has always been kind enough to give us a quick preview of the upcoming episode after we've watched the most recent one and well, as Ser Davos so eloquently put it, "bad things are coming".

However, we haven't had a major character die in season seven yet, and Jaime's death would tip Cersei right over the edge, accelerating the plot and the showdown between her and Dany.

Even though he recognizes Daenerys would be a better ruler for Westeros, Coster-Waldau can not help but feel sad for the Lannister soldiers who were slaughtered or harmed while doing their job. Nestoris also makes it clear that they'll support the Iron Throne once the debt is paid (but that's not necessarily supporting Cersei-especially if she doesn't remain on the throne for much longer). Both Jon and Daenerys have experienced rebirths amid salt and smoke...but in "The Spoils of War", Jaime does too. Maybe that's something that she'll try to figure out, but we're not all that sure that they're going to be all that willing to sit there and allow themselves to be measured for it... Even Jon Snow is also a Stark to his very core despite his name.
