Actor-turned-TDP MLA Balakrishna slaps supporter clicking a selfie in Nandyal

The way senior actor and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupur constituency Nandamuri Balakrishna slapped one of his fans who was trying to take a selfie with him at Nandyal shocked everybody, including his own party leaders and MLAs.

According to reports, Balakrishna, son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao and brother-in-law of current Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, was campaigning for by-elections in the coming week in Nandyal, 200 km from Hyderabad. While all workers are garlanding the star, a fan was pushed away towards Balakrishna in the melee. The video from Wednesday night has now gone viral with the actor being slammed for his unruly behaviour.

Earlier this month, he was caught assaulting an Assistant Director on the sets of his untitled film. This is not the first time that Balakrishna getting irritated by fans and their over eagerness to come close to him to get a selfie.

The Nandyal bye-election will be held on August 23.

Balakrishna was caught on camera distributing money to the voters, however the party denies it saying the photos were photoshopped. These two pictures are likely going to land the actor and the TDP in some serious trouble. All of a sudden, fans started pushing themselves which resulted in Balayya becoming angry.
