Prince William and Harry will appear in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

He didn't exactly give away any major plot points about Star Wars: The Last Jedi or anything like that, but he did confirm some long rumored celebrity cameos that are going to happen in the upcoming adventure in a galaxy far, far away. It was a fun visit for the royals, with William admitting to being a "total geek" when it came to Star Wars.

John said: "I think they took that scene out".

It is a possibility, at least according to a star from the latest "Star Wars" trilogy, John Boyega, who plays the rogue stormtrooper Finn.

'There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. Hardy and the two United Kingdom princes won't be the first A-listers who make cameos in a "Star Wars" film though, since Daniel Craig had a secret cameo and delivered a brief line as a Stormtrooper in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". "They came on set". They also had an adorable Lightsaber battle.

Reports then surfaced that they'd make an appearance in the movie, out this December. Finn will reportedly take his Resistance dedication a step further as he goes on an intense mission with Rose, a new character played by Kelly Marie Tran.

On the radio program Friday, Boyega stopped short of stating that the two princes and Hardy were definitely in the movie, or had even filmed cameos, saying only that they had all been "on set".

Just a few weeks later, the site Making Star Wars also reported that famed actor Tom Hardy would be making a cameo. Hardy was supposedly included as a stormtrooper who had known Finn prior to his days in the Resistance.

If the royals do make it into the final film, they'll join the ranks of James Bond actor Daniel Craig who played a Stormtrooper in "The Force Awakens."

It's not exactly how we'll see Prince William if he's in "The Last Jedi".
