Mourinho insists United will not get carried away after dream start

After putting West Ham to the sword in the opening round, the Red Devils this time crushed Swansea with Eric Bailly, Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial all scoring.

Add playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan - the Man of the Match yesterday with two assists - to the equation and United are not at all short of firepower.

However, in the final minute before the break, United went in front through Bailly, who tapped home from on the line after Fabianski had made a sensational save to tip Pogba's free header onto the underside of the crossbar.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said it could be years before his troubled team are capable of dominating at home and overseas.

Now, these victories were against West Ham and the Swans, so we should be cautious before crowning them after two weeks, and everyone is eager to see how United will do against stiff competition.

It emphasised how much Paul Clement's side are missing Gylfi Sigurdsson, and the Swansea boss is anxious to spend some of the £45million that Everton have paid for the Iceland star.

The Manchester United manager said via his club's official site: "The word that describes better the team now is confidence".

"And the question marks somebody puts, if other leagues don't close at the same time are we in danger of losing players in the last couple of weeks?" Just let the horses run freely, and we were magnificent.

"When they changed to four, I had Martial fresh to come to the team and exploit more spaces".

"It's 4-0 again with a clean sheet, we want to carry on on this road and if we want this we have to carry on like that", said Pogba after the match. "I feel very happy with the difficulty of the match and the way we explored their fragile moments at the end of the game".

"They are so strong on the counter, powerful runners".

"But we got in a mess with our organisation". We have to work at our game and the trip to (Crystal) Palace next week becomes really, really important.
