Breitbart Apologises To Podolski For Picture Blunder

On Friday, the Breitbart, in a story titled "Spanish Police Crack Gang Moving Migrants on Jet-Skis", claimed traffickers were smuggling migrants from Morocco into Europe via the Strait of Gibraltar by using jet-skis.

Former Arsenal and Germany forward Lukas Podolski is considering legal action after conservative website Breitbart published his photo in an article about illegal immigration.

Breitbart later updated the story picture, but not before more football-savvy Twitter users made the original gaffe a viral hit.

Podolski is neither Spanish Police, nor a member of a crack gang, nor a member of a Spanish police crack gang, nor a migrant on a jet ski.

Mr Bannon has described Breitbart, the website he ran before joining Mr Trump's campaign and administration, as a platform for the white supremacists and neo-Nazis known as the "alt-right".

The photo of Podolski is believed to have been taken in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup and has since been replaced with a photo of migrants from the Associated Press. "We wish Mr Podolski well in his recently announced worldwide retirement".

Podolski, a Polish born German global who now plays his club ball for J-League side Vissel Kobe, has absolutely nothing to do the subject matter of the story. We wish Mr. Podolski well in his recently announced global retirement. Either way, he looks very happy wherever he's going on that jet-ski.
