Britney Spears gives fans 'Something To Talk About'

During a performance as part of her "Piece of Me" residency shows in Las Vegas, Britney broke from tradition to grab a hand mic and performing a pretty great rendition of Bonnie Rate's 1991 hit "Something to Talk About".

Spears then launched into a live cover of Bonnie Raitt's "Something to Talk About", and boy, did she nail it.

The singer explained to the audience that she's been thinking about how she's treated by various media outlets. It's really insane 'cause one minute they tear you down, they're really disgusting, and the next minute you're on top of the world, you know?

"One minute they tear you down, and that's really disgusting, and the next minute you're on top of the world, but I've never really spoke about it. I'm from Louisiana", she continued.

Sounds like a good ole' southern SLAY, Brit!

"It's really amusing - a lot of people think that I don't do live. And I just want to make sure I keep having you motherf--s something to talk about, OK?"

The live performance comes after Spears denied lip-syncing allegations two months ago.

'Because I'm dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, ' Britney admitted, quickly adding 'there's a mixture of my voice and playback'.

Britney Spears has been dealing with accusations of lip-syncing her whole career, but now she's slamming the media over their treatment of her in the best way.

"To put on the show that she puts on, it's virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does".

"I've never really spoken about it".

All the hits: Spears powers through over 20 of her most-loved singles like.Baby One More Time and Oops!

Spears was in the middle of performing"(You Drive Me) Crazy,"her last song, when a man jumped up on the stage.

It was announced in April that her Sin City residency would come to an end after four years.
