Jose Mourinho praises 'confident' Manchester United after win at Swansea

United have now won their opening two Premier League games of the season 4-0, while Swansea have yet to score a goal.

Man U had led 1-0 at the break before the floodgates opened in a five-minute period late in the game.

- United Report (@ManUtdReport_) August 19, 2017Bailly's first #MUFC??? We have a really good record defending set-plays - we only conceded one after I came in last season - so to concede in that fashion was disappointing. The substitute Martial on the edge of the box, cut in onto his right foot to place the ball into the bottom corner to make it 4-0 to the visitors and round off a sensational four minute spell for Manchester United.

It was a match that United ought to win. "You see the players I brought to the game and they are players with a lot to give".

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial and Louis Saha were the rest of the three number 9s who scored in the first two games for the Europa League champions, with Dimitar Berbatov and Radamel Falcao missing in the list.

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have fought hard to keep Spaniard, Ander Herrera at Old Trafford following interest from Barcelona, but it seems the former Athletic Bilbao man has a fight in his hands to force himself back into the thoughts of manager, Mourinho. I don't like that people are looking at these matches and thinking they are easy matches. After coming unstuck against so many teams they were expected to beat last season, this can only be welcomed by United supporters and the team are reaping the rewards so far.

"The first goal is always important in this league".

Although Pogba scored a fine goal, the Frenchman was on unsafe ground when he caught Martin Olsson with a late challenge after picking up an earlier booking for a foul.

"OK, a striker lives on numbers and it was because of Romelu's numbers that we paid so much to have him".

Next up are Leicester City and Stoke City.

Jose Mourinho has chose to name the same starting XI that beat West Ham 4-0 in Week 1, which means Anthony Martial and Ander Herrera will remain on the bench for Manchester United.
