Trump says U.S. 'very protective' of the Baltics

Niinisto did not comment on Trump's words during the press conference, but the presidential staff told the media immediately afterwards that even the tenders for the purchase have not been sent out yet.

President Donald Trump met Finnish President Sauli Niinisto at the White House and during a joint press conference in the East Room he confused two female journalists from Finland. Unlike with other adversaries and rivals such as China, Trump has been reluctant to take a tough rhetorical line on Russian Federation.

While Trump's political opponents have blasted the president for his conciliatory language on Russian Federation, little has changed in USA military policy since Trump took office.

"I believe someday that will happen.I think that's very good for world peace and other things", the U.S. President added. "That's all I can say", Trump said. She then asked what the US would do if the situation in the Baltic were to escalate.

He said federal aid to help the region recover will be a "very expensive situation". "We are very protective of that region".

"We consider that a very, very important part of the world", Trump said referring to the Baltic. The military exercises will be conducted in the air, on land and at sea, with the participation of a US Patriot missile battery, helicopters and a unit of National Guard tanks.

"I think we have much in agreement", Trump said.

Trump added that the U.S. will work to cut off funding for terrorism to defeat what he called a "very wicked ideology".

So far, it is reported that Finland has only asked for quotations from various airplane makers from across the industry, including companies in Europe and the US.

As Annala lamented, "We have a lot of blonde women in Finland" could, sadly, be her journalistic legacy forever.
