Destiny 2 Benefitting Most From Red Dead Redemption 2 Delay

This is quite an achievement for Destiny 2 and part of the reason it is able to enjoy an impactful debut is because of Red Dead Redemption 2.

For more on Destiny 2, be sure to check out our review in progress, and stop by tomorrow when we'll be livestreaming the game's first major event, the Leviathan Raid.

While Bungie is at work on delivering new content to Destiny 2, it's also taking action to remove an inadvertent reference to a hate symbol.

Fans of Destiny 2 will have to try not to panic this afternoon as servers go down for a spell of maintenance. Bungie denounced hate speech of any kind in their tweets. As with most situations, Reddit is usually able to come up with an answer pretty fast and it looks like they have done it again.

The item in question, which was still live on the game's official site as of press time, is a piece of arm-and-shoulder armor named "Road Complex AA1". We renounce hate in all forms. As explained by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the term is based on video game forum language and an Egyptian god named Kek which has a frog's head. This appears to be a mostly social media driven ideology but the group does hold rallies every so often.
