Oppo A71, priced at Rs 12990 launched in India

Oppo has quietly launched their new smartphone in India just in time to combat the Xiaomi Mi A1.

Starting with the highlight of the device, the A71 features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, Phase detection autofocus and an LED flash.

On the specifications front, this phone has 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display. Oppo A71 comes in Gold and Black colors and will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and offline stores from September 12. The unibody metal back uses "nano silver technology" to "strengthen the gloss" of the metal, says Oppo. The rear camera also has Multi-Frame Denoising technology, which reduces the noise in images and videos shot in low-light situations. Selfies are taken care by a 5MP front snapper with Beautify 4.0 and f/2.4 aperture size. You'll find the MediaTek MT6750 chipset under the hood along with 3 GB of RAM. The Oppo A71 has an internal memory of 16GB and it thankfully has a dedicated microSD card slot instead of the idiotic hybrid SIM slots which limit the customer with the choice of two SIMs or one SIM and one microSD card. All of it is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and a proximity sensor. It has a dimension of 148.1x73.8 x7.6 mm and weighs 137 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB (with OTG Supportability). "The A71 brings consumers premium photography and advanced features at an affordable price point." said Sky Li, Oppo President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business.
