5 talking points ahead of the return of the Premier League

United's flawless start to the season in the English Premier League came to an end as Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting became the first player to score against them this season, netting twice for Stoke by capitalising on errors by Eric Bailly and Phil Jones.

Mourinho said: "It is not the moment to speak, he knows the mistake, he doesn't need me to go in and speak with him about it, so no problem".

Stoke City: Darren Fletcher the former United midfielder has recovered from minor knee injury and could feature against his former club.

Jones and Bailly were initially praised for their start to the season in which the team kept 3 clean sheets and fans were starting to love the centre-back partnership.

The Portuguese has a little over 18 months on his current deal with the Premier League leaders, who are planning talks in November to extend his contract according to The Telegraph.

Summer signing Choupo-Moting put Stoke ahead in the 43rd minute, powerfully finishing a fine team move for his first goal for the club.

"The game is played two ways: one is played in possession and one is played out of it".

Mourinho shook hands with every other staff member of Stoke City, but deliberately ignored the former Manchester United player. Sometimes managers of top-six clubs don't take negative results too kindly. Maybe he reacted in the wrong way.

"I seem to get involved in handshake issues!" I prefer not to answer the question because your question is a bad question.

After a fast start to the game, it soon settled into a pattern as United dominated possession and forced Stoke back into their own half.

"We try to play according to the qualities of our players".

In response to these claims, Hughes told reporters: "That's just an easy swipe at us really".

I'm thinking the hard work and simplicity of his game will see Matic close down any space that can cause United any issues.

"We are ready but we have to respect every opponent and realise where we have come from", Herrera said in comments published by the British press on Monday.
