Mike Myers in Talks to Join Freddie Mercury Biopic

And now years later not only is a movie finally being made about Mercury but the performance will be part of the film.

Comedian Mike Myers has had a long and successful career with a memorable stint on Saturday Night Live and his tremendously influential Austin Powers films.

'At one point I said to everybody, "I'm out. I don't want to make this movie if it's not 'Bohemian Rhapsody'". The video also includes Joseph Mazzello as bassist John Deacon, Gwilym Lee as guitarist Brian May and Ben Hardy as drummer Roger Taylor.

But thankfully, a leaked video of a recreation of Live Aid and a photo release (above) of Rumi Malek as Freddie confirms that the show will go on. Lucy Boynton is to play Freddie's "Love Of My Life" muse Mary Austin. You can tell he's been training hard for the role, throwing out some air punches to the imaginary crowd and doing a damn fine job of embodying Mercury and his signature stage presence.

Still in production, the film is directed by "X-Men" director Bryan Singer and written by Anthony McCarten ("The Theory of Everything").

The minute-and-a-half fan-shot clip from the set of the Bohemian Rhapsody movie captures a pivotal moment for the band: their comeback set at Live Aid in 1985. What do you think so far?
