New feature to allow WhatsApp users delete sent messages

WABetaInfo also disclosed that the WhatsApp has been trying to recall messages for quite some time and now after their tremendous efforts Recall feature will be available for both iOS and Android users very soon.

"The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message".

The feature is reportedly on testing and will let users recall sent messages that haven't been seen by the recipient. This new Whatsapp Feature will be working on all kinds of data like text, images, GIFs, Files, and Videos. The deleted message will be updated in the Notification Center saying that the "sender has deleted the message".

The tipster added that the feature will be enabled pretty soon. Also, it is unclear if the feature will be available on both the Android and iOS version of WhatsApp.

It looks like they'll still get a notification, but it will read "This message was deleted" meaning you'll probably still have to be a little imaginative if they ask what the message was about. "It is actually disabled by default and it's under development", an earlier WABetaInfo's tweet read. The chat service has officially announced that that it is now testing new tools that will enable businesses to connect with consumers easily. With WhatsApp Business, the company will start monetizing the app; now it is also under the testing phase.
