WWE provides a brief update on Vince McMahon

It was meant to be a "good for business" step, but WWE boss Vince McMahon got busted in the hands of Kevin Ownes in the most horrifying way early Wednesday morning on this week's episode of SmackDown Live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Un-phased, Owens remained confident that he could not wait for Mr McMahon to arrive.

Mr McMahon then further embarrassed Owens by saying Shane should have "finished the job" on Owens and has only been suspended for not doing so. Vince bragged about his record in the court room and ripped on Owens for getting beat up by Shane, then informed Owens he was reinstating his son. Not one to back down, Vince made it clear that he was prepared to fire Owens on the spot and cause him to go bankrupt if he did go ahead with the lawsuit.

Shane would be facing Owens in a Hell in a Cell match.

The attack came after McMahon announced Owens and Shane McMahon will face off in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. He continued the onslaught with punch, kicks and a dastardly Frog Splash. This would send Shane over the edge as the Commissioner would attack Kevin Owens, pummeling Owens before Daniel Bryan was able to break it up.
