Were there lots of other issues and this whole interference by Russian Federation is still an issue.

You guessed it - the pant-suited queen herself, Hillary Clinton.

Former US Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has revealed in an interview with the USA Today, that she's "convinced" there was collusion between Russian Federation and members of Donald Trump's team during the 2016 election campaign.

And the 16th anniversary of 9/11 was no exception.

"I was running a traditional presidential campaign with carefully thought-out policies and painstakingly built coalitions", Clinton wrote in the book, according to the New York Times, "while Trump was running a reality TV show that expertly and relentlessly stoked Americans' anger and resentment". Lauer and Clinton, who also writes she fantasized about "shaking some sense" into him at the time, were cordial and even keeled during the almost 20-minute interview.

The former secretary of state blames candidates including Vladimir Putin, James Comey, Democrat rival Bernie Sanders and the "deplorables" among Donald Trump's support for her failure to become the first U.S. female president.

"And there's no doubt in my mind that the Trump campaign and other associates have worked really hard to hide their connections with Russians", the former Democratic presidential nominee said.

Trump denied at a rally shortly after the debate that he tried to stalk Clinton during the debate. It runs through Clinton's bid for president, why she believes Trump won and how she felt afterward.

"The determining factor was the intervention by [FBI director James] Comey on October 28", Clinton said when asked by co-anchor Savannah Guthrie about why she lost to Donald Trump last November. "I knew that", she told host Jane Pauley.

What Happened is published on Tuesday and Mrs Clinton will also appear on late-night talk shows, radio and podcasts as part of the publishing tour.

Vladimir Putin has no desire to read Hillary Clinton's newly released book on her failed presidential bid, the Kremlin has said.

This makes Clinton a more unusual figure than she gets credit for being: Not only does she refuse to paint an inspiring vision of a political process rid of corruption, partisanship, and rancor, but she's also actively dismissive of those promises and the politicians who make them.
