Kate Hudson joked about her 'lazy' C-section. Women aren't laughing

The 38-year-old Almost Famous star and mother-of-two appears on this month's cover of Cosmopolitan magazine, and in the feature article's Q&A, Hudson was asked to specify the "laziest" thing she had ever done.

Hudson - the featured actress on October's cover - was given a list of questions from the magazine for her to fill out.

Hudson's son Ryder, now 13, was reportedly delivered via C-section.

"Then my hips weren't opening and I wasn't dilating", she said."I was in labor".

Having never produced a human, nor given birth to one vaginally or via caesarean section, I can't speak from experience, but I'm pretty sure child birth is one of the most painful, arduous, and exhausting experiences a woman ever has to go through.

'I've been a fan for a long time, but I was incredibly disappointed to read your comment regarding your C-section. I think that's the furthest thing from lazy!

On Twitter Hudson was accused of making a "stupid" remark as other women who have undergone C-sections reminded her that it is major surgery. Call me lazy but I'd rather be alive with him than dead from being "not lazy". While the celeb may have deemed her reasoning as "lazy", moms who have had C-sections are taking her flippant remarks very personal. She was commenting about HERSELF. "There's already a stigma out there where C-section mums have to inform mothers who've given birth naturally that it's not a walk in the park".

With regard to her own C-section with Ryder, Hudson described it as more the result of happenstance than preplanning or an emergency, according to Pop Sugar. I guess you have to take a lot of shits before you're bored enough to flip to the Kate Hudson interview instead reading the "4 Hidden Moan Zones" article again. "Let's just have a C-section". The doctor said I could go home, but it was such a pain in the butt to get to hospital because we were being stalked by photographers. "I hope there's a midnight screening!"

In addition to the inflammatory response to one of the questionnaire's questions, Kate also revealed that out of all her former costars, she's choose Liv Tyler as a roommate, and would pick Larry David to play her leading man. And so I got drugged up'. Maybe she's trying not to spoil the movie: here's a little still of her character that she posted in July.
