Chelsea vs Arsenal: What we learnt from Liverpool defeat - Wenger

"You learn from defeats and during the season every team will have a bad patch and bad games".

Despite winning the FA Cup in May, the heat is already being turned up on Wenger after the Gunners suffered two straight league defeats on the road against Liverpool and Stoke.

"Last year, until we lost at Everton [in December], we had not lost away the whole year".

After a rough start to the season in a 3-2 loss to Burnley in their opening Premier League fixture, Chelsea have found form and look nearly unstoppable.

Antonio Conte, meanwhile, is still unwilling to risk Eden Hazard following his lengthy lay-off with an ankle injury - the Belgium global will start the fixture on the bench.

Arsenal are likely to recall a host of first-team regulars for the short trip.

Arsene Wenger's side are without Ozil, as earlier reported by Goal, who is carrying a minor injury while Sanchez starts as a substitute after playing 90 minutes for the Gunners in their Europa League win over Cologne on Thursday.

Arsenal have won just two of their last 21 away games against a member of last season's top six - a run which stretches back to the beginning of the 2013-14 season.

Wenger is without midfielder Francis Coquelin, who has a hamstring problem, while Santi Cazorla remains out of action. The Gunners haven't kept a Premier League clean sheet at Stamford Bridge in their last 12 visits there, shipping at least twice in each of the eight.

Chelsea are coming off a huge start to their Champions League campaign midweek, smashing Qarabag 6-nil at home.

Arsenal come into the game following a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth and a 3-1 win over FC Koln.
