BTS Becomes First Korean Artist To Enter Spotify's Global Top 50 Chart

As a press release notes, the song's video "reaches its climax during the choreography scene when all seven BTS members hold hands together and connect as one like DNA".

The album's lead track, "DNA", also topped iTunes song charts in 29 countries.

BTS became the first Korean musician to break into the top 50 artists played on global music streaming service Spotify, according to its agency Wednesday.

Yesterday's release of LOVE YOURSELF: "HER" is also impacting U.S. radio stations which are organically adding the song to their playlists. iHeart's KJ 102.3 have requested both "DNA" and "Best of Me" for their rotations.

After not appearing on the chart for over three months, The Chainsmokers re-enter at No. 10 with 615,000 Twitter mentions and 394,000 Twitter reactions - boosts 586 and 2,259 percent, respectively, according to Next Big Sound - after tweeting about meeting BTS (the chart's No. 1 act for a 40th week) on September 12.
