Elisabeth Moss 'blacked out' on Emmys' stage

Elisabeth Moss appears on stage to accept her award at the 2017 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles. For instance, the "off" can also be read as a reference to Moss's character Offred in The Handmaid's Tale, which makes this secret message all that more witty - especially considering the challenge the show poses to patriarchal society.

After the show, E! And no, it wasn't on her stunning baby pink Prabal Gurung gown.

"I really did. I don't really remember much of it". I've never experienced them actually calling my name, so it was a very odd feeling. Finally winning was an "incredible" feeling, she added.

Moss delivered her thank you in rapid-fire, and at one point her speech needed to be bleeped.

Fellow Emmy victor Donald Glover had the exact same reaction to his Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series as Moss did when she won. "I was not ready for that".

Call Jane looks set to offer another great role for Elisabeth, who's gone from strength to strength since her breakout role as Peggy Olsen in Mad Men - starring in High Rise and Mad to Be Normal, not to mention some of the best TV in recent years such as Top of the Lake and The Handmaid's Tale. "It's always a surprise", she said. "No", she said. "I crushed it!"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moss has signed on to star in "Call Jane", an abortion drama to be directed by "My Week With Marilyn" filmmaker Simon Curtis. More than anything, the actress said, "I'm just so proud to get to do this work".
