Buhari returns to London, to Arrive Nigeria On Monday

President Buhari is expected to dona follow up medical check jp in the UK.

Buhari addressed world leaders last Tuesday in NY at the 72nd session of UN General Assembly.

President Buhari, who returned from the United Kingdom in August, after over a 100 days medical leave, has spent over 160 non-consecutive days in the country where he is being treated for an undisclosed ailment.

President Muhammadu Buhari has left NY for London after participating in the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Presidency did not disclose why Buhari was visiting London again having returned on August 19 after a medical vacation that spanned 103 days.

The president reportedly checked out of the Millennium Tower, New York at about 8.05am and headed for JFK International Airport to embark on his journey to London.

It is not clear when the President would return to Nigeria, as no specific timeframe was given for his medical check-up in the United Kingdom. Buhari also had a meeting with Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo.

He as well met Jordan King, Abdullah II, who donated 200 armoured vehicles to Nigeria to bolster the fight against insurgency.
