Reports disagree whether North Korea quake was man-made

Earlier in September, North Korea conducted its sixth and largest nuclear weapons test, and it has regularly conducted missile tests as rhetoric between it and the USA has continued to rise.

"North Korea's weapons program is a grave threat to the Asia-Pacific region and the entire global community".

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sparked everyone's interest with his choice of words when he used a centuries-old insult to describe U.S. President Donald Trump.

Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho spoke to reporters on Thursday in NY, where he is attending the United Nations General Assembly.

North Korea has claimed progress in its ability to miniaturize a nuclear bomb to fit a warhead onto a missile.

The words, "it would mean the end of their country as they know it" said by the former president seem to cast the same shadow on the Korean country much like Trump's speech, however, Clinton never faced the same kind of media backlash.

"The solution must be political".

North Korea could detonate a powerful hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean as a response to the US President Donald Trump's latest threat at the United Nations, warned Pyongyang's foreign minister.

Mr Ri did not respond when asked by reporters whether North Korea had conducted a new nuclear test.

"I believe the best path to the most peaceful world are proud, independent sovereign nations that respect their people", Trump said to the Alabama crowd.

In a teaser for Friday night's episode of Late Night, Colbert had harsh words for Kim and North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong Ho, who compared Trump to a barking dog while visiting NY for the United Nations General Assembly.

"I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged United States dotard with fire, he has made unprecedented rude nonsense one has never heard from any of his predecessors".

The move was in a show of force and demonstrated the range of military options available to Mr Trump, the Pentagon said.

On Tuesday, Trump insulted North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, saying "Rocket Man is on a suicide mission".

The 3.4 magnitude quake that hit North Korea on Saturday is said to have been caused by a fresh nuclear test.

Kim's statement was a unique escalation itself, marking the first time Kim or his predecessors had addressed the world directly, according to Seoul's Unification Ministry, which is responsible for North-South relations. Kim also called the U.S. president a "mentally deranged USA dotard".
