Dancing With the Stars Recap: Was the Right Couple Eliminated First?

Barbara Corcoran and Keo Motsepe were the first couple eliminated from season 25 of Dancing With the Stars on Monday, September 25, but they don't regret a thing about their experience.

But before we get to the results, let's see how each of the couples danced tonight... Following Lindsey Sterling's own bout with depression, the musician was excited to metaphorically - but also kind of literally - transform into a butterfly for her quickstep with Mark Ballas.

Unsurprisingly, all three judges - as always, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli - started weighing in on all of the performances.

Normally I'd look at the bottom of the leaderboard for my prediction, but Nick is arguably the most famous person in the cast and Derek performed late, had his awesome mom with him and is partnered with Sharna, so he should be safe too. This week he has had to learn two dances - one for "Ballroom Night" and another for Tuesday's "Latin Night" - and on top of that he's physically struggling through the aftermath of a back-breaking accident as a race vehicle driver.

Debbie Gibson, who battles Lyme disease, also earned 20, for her graceful quickstep with Alan Bersten, and so did "Property Brothers" star Drew Scott (with Emma Slater). And unlike the at-home viewers, the judges can't be bribed with promises of new kitchens.

But maybe a little too explosive for Len Goodman. Her performance tonight is one that she could be proud of.

The other couple in the bottom two were former NFL pro football player Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke. "I don't think fans realize that I'm really a soft touch, and I buy with my heart on that show, and I just fall in love with people very readily, and I trust my instinct, and that's why I'm good at this", she told Us. "I don't know what we're going to do for tomorrow". "Finesse and technique" were Len's watchwords for him.

Just seconds after Jordan Fisher received his scores, Barbara and Keo as well as Terrell and Cheryl faced down the possibility of not making it to Tuesday.

For the last dance of the night, Hamilton star Jordan Fisher returned with Lindsay Arnold for a Viennese waltz and said he hoped to top last week's high score and have the best dance of the night. And thinking back to that night - which yielded relatively low scores across the board - I can't say I was even the least bit surprised to see Barbara and Keo eliminated get the first boot of Season 25. And which pair should go next?
