Thierry Henry Says There's Only One World-Class Striker In The Premier League

The top flight has its fair share of in-form strikers at the moment but the Arsenal legend believes only Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero warrants the tag.

Graham Roberts has slammed former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry after he claimed that Harry Kane is still short of being world class.

Ex-Spurs player Roberts was unhappy with what Henry said on Sky Sports on Monday night and questioned how much the pundit was being paid for talking what he deemed as nonsense.

Kane did manage to score twice in Tottenham's recent win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, his biggest goals on the European stage to date. You have to give him a bit of credit.

The Manchester City striker has been in brillaint form so far this season, scoring six times in as many games for Pep Guardiola's team. "I think sometimes we bypass Aguero like he didn't happen".

Both Kane and Lukaku are edging nearer to 100 Premier League goals at the age of just 24, and Morata has adapted quickly since arriving from Real Madrid in the summer.

Aguero is a two-time victor of the Premier League and has netted at least 20 league goals in four of his six seasons.

But Henry says that although they are on their way to getting to the level, Lukaku and Morata, along Harry Kane, a two-time Premier League Golden Boot victor and the most prolific striker in Europe statistically, can not be considered world-class just yet.

No matter what your opinion on England global Kane, there's no doubting his ability in front of goal having won the Premier League golden boot in two successive seasons while helping Spurs to a third and second place finish. They will get there and we should be happy to have these players in our league'.
