"As a result of the attack, three Israelis were killed, another one wounded", the statement said. The terrorist was neutralized at the scene by security forces.

The wounded Israeli is in a serious condition and is being treated at the Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem.

According to initial reports, the attack took place shortly after 7 a.m. local Jerusalem time at the rear entrance to Har Adar, a small Jewish community about nine miles northwest of Jerusalem.

Following the shooting, IOF closed the roads to the settlement, and broke into the village of Beit Surik.

Israel says a lot of them were attackers and others died in clashes with Israeli forces. He then opened fire on the security forces on duty killing three and wounding one.

Since October 2015, the unrest in Israel and the Palestinian territories has killed at least 295 Palestinians or Arab Israelis, 50 Israelis, two Americans, two Jordanians, an Eritrean, a Sudanese and a Briton, according to an AFP toll.
