Kate Middleton Makes First Appearance Since Pregnancy Announcement

Although still reportedly dealing with severe morning sickness, Kate worked the event like a pro, greeting dignitaries while wearing a long dress by Temperley that showed a hint of a baby bump.

But Middleton still has a ways to go in her pregnancy.

They toured Kensington Palace's sunken garden which had been transformed into a memorial space planted with white foliage and flowers in honour of Diana.

For the past few weeks, Duchess Kate has been on bed rest due to a severe form of morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum. "She's delighted to be here tonight".

The royals had invited 350 guests from the mental health sector including many of those who appeared in videos promoting William, Kate and Harry's Heads Together campaign, which has been encouraging people to talk about their psychological problems or be a sympathetic ear for those in need.

We can't imagine what the Duchess of Cambridge has been going through as she's suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, but we're happy to report that she looked happy and healthy at her first public appearance since it was announced she and Prince William are expecting their third child.

Through their Heads Together campaign, the trio of royals has taken up the cause of mental health awareness, and today's event celebrates "the contribution of those working in the mental health sector across the United Kingdom". "Sometimes it's just a simple conversation that can make things better".

The sister of Kate Middleton, 34 years old, wears jeans very fitted in this shot of the Daily Star: the daily recalls that the young woman has adopted an attitude very low-key since her marriage to billionaire James Matthews in may of last year.

In a speech, William thanked everyone for what they'd done and said it was Kate "who first realized that all three of us were working on mental health in our individual areas of focus".

"Catherine, Harry and I are proud to stand up in support of this community". But her health is most important and it's good to see that Middleton's condition is improving.
