New "Fifty Shades" Book Gets November Release Date

"Writing Darker offered me new insights into his character and motivations, and I hope readers find those insights as compelling as I did".

And just like the original Fifty Shades trilogy, Darker has been written by the author E L James - so you can trust you'll be getting Christian Grey's authentic voice. "It's been a great pleasure to return to my happy place-writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage".

Anna Messitte, publisher of Vintage, teased that the book will contain tons of surprises. That's right. Fifty Shades Darker, except as told by Christian rather than Ana, is on the way.

(Maybe especially the spankers?) If you are an E.L. James fan, I commend you to this list of recommendations by author Sarah MacLean, as well as the sites Heroes and Heartbreakers and Smart Bitches Trashy Books.

The narrative follows the Fifty Shades story butfrom the point of view from millionaire and BDSM addict Christian Grey, which will differ slightly from Ana's experiences.

"Fifty Shades Darker" was released two years later. The excerpt detailed Christian's thoughts as he sat in the auto and waited for Ana to get off work.

Haven't had enough of the Fifty Shades franchise?

"Fifty Shades Freed" is slated to hit theaters in February 2018.
