Aguero back in training after auto crash

The Argentina superstar underlined his quality on Tuesday by scoring a hat-trick to send his nation to the 2018 World Cup with a 3-1 win in Ecuador.

Messi is still yet to sign a new deal at Barca, where he has spent his entire career, despite several claims from the club management that the renewal has taken place.

In spite of the delay, Aguero does not think that there is much hope of Messi joining him at City, even if money is not an issue for the Premier League side. "But I think Messi, like [Cristiano] Ronaldo, are players who are symbols of their clubs and it's hard for them to leave".

Sergio Aguero gave Manchester City a welcome boost on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila) as the Argentina striker returned to training following his recent vehicle crash.

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero insists that many players go overseas on their days off in a response to those who slammed his decision to go to a concert in Amsterdam.

Aguero was expected to be out of action for two to four weeks, but the 29-year-old was hopeful of getting back to full fitness sooner.

"I was lucky that I know the agent of [Colombian singer] Maluma, he invited me and I went".

The accident sparked fears Aguero could be out of action for up to two months. Today I trained normally, but without the group.
