Breezy & Cooler for Thursday w/ Showers

Breezy & Cooler for Thursday w/ Showers

A cold front moved southeast through our region Monday. The shower activity will end late tonight as temperatures drop into the 40s and lower 50s. Partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies are on tap with the chance for some showers. Tomorrow will be partly to mostly sunny as temperatures peak in the middle 60s. Thursday night into Friday morning, another round of cooler overnight lows will allow for the change for more areas of frost! A gloomy day with showers and storms sticking around with highs this afternoon well above normal topping out in the mid 70s. This means a northeasterly flow will pull down cool air and moisture, leading to some gloomy and drizzly weather at times on Friday. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid 80s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Highs rebound into the upper 70's as storm chances return late weekend. This general motion is expected to continue during the next day or two.

Before the front arrived in San Angelo Monday afternoon, the airport there tied the record high for the date of 97.

Good Thursday morning, it's another cool morning outside across the ArkLaMiss with calm conditions and clear skies. Clouds will remain through the night with an occasional spit of drizzle.
