Tyrese Says Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Is Selfish For Spinoff Movie

Tyrese Says Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Is Selfish For Spinoff Movie

Gibson posted a video from 2015 of Rock dissing his album "Black Rose".

"Haters come in many forms", Tyrese wrote in the caption, signaling that he didn't think the video was very amusing.

But the Death Race actor wasn't done yet: 'He's the reason we're pushing the release date back now, ' he said of Johnson.

It's a little unclear why Johnson dislikes the album so much, but Gibson's video reveal is just the latest shot fired in a shade war between the two.

"I've got to say, in all honesty, it's the biggest piece of dog shit I've ever heard", The Rock said, speaking right into the camera. Everyone's like, 'Yeah, big piece of dog s-.' Shouldn't be called Black Rose, should be called Big Piece of Black Dog S-, that's what it should be called. It's like baby sh-t.

Gibson bizarrely tries to tell the man who he is taking to the airport: "I need to stop at a vehicle wash, my auto is dirty".

I hope this feud, or whatever, never ends. It's the soft dog sh-t. Also, it's possible his comments were made in jest, as he seems to be tapping into his wrestling persona, even cracking a smile as he walks away. Tyrese Gibson recently commented on Johnson's Instagram cautioned his co-star to not make the Hobbs spin-off before Fast 9.

Not all Fast and Furious cast members are happy about the decision to make the spin-off a priority. This movie is slated to be released on July 26, 2019.

Johnson noted that he has utmost respect for the franchise and his goal for making a spin-off is to generate awesome opportunities for his fellow actors and create new content for the fans.

Gibson spoke to TMZ on Tuesday, October 10, explaining the reasoning behind his anger.

"Everybody coming at me like I'm hating on Dwayne about his spin-off". You might not see them side by side any time like that leading up to the release of Fast and Furious 9, now due out in 2020.

'I just got a problem with Dwayne, it appears that he's being selfish, it appears that he's so focused on furthering his own self-interests'. "My vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other wonderful actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool". Ultimately, he says he wants to expand the Fast and Furious franchise into new places and with new characters so the fans have more ways to enjoy it. Film, TV, Digital, Virtual Reality etc. the more opportunities we can create the better for the fans.
