South Park: The Fractured But Whole Season Pass detailed

They will be able to unlock exclusive costumes and artifacts.

This week's episode of South Park probably isn't required viewing for understanding what will happen in Ubisoft's upcoming video game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, but it definitely helps set up the events for the game's Civil War-style conflict.

The South Park: The Fractured But Whole Season Pass is available as part of the game's $90 Gold Edition, or for $30 on its own.

So, mostly costume packs and slight add-ons, but still pretty ideal for fans of the South Park franchise.

To get all that content priced at just under $37, you can pick up a season pass for South Park: The Fractured But Whole on the game's launch on October 17 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99. This is the first of two planned DLC story episodes, and sees players "team up with The Coon and Mysterion to defeat a demonic presence at Casa Bonita".

Danger Deck is the title of the first post-launch DLC, arriving at a now unspecified point in December. Finally, Bring the Crunch will add a brand new story to the game along with a new superhero class, but details about this new narrative have not yet been announced. This content will be available for $11.99 in 2018. This promotion is similar to the Game of Thrones Black Friday episode that preceded the release of South Park: The Stick of Truth. Towelie: Your Gaming Bud provides helpful and hilarious advice and commentary to players at key locations throughout the game. It has a pair of story-type DLCs in it, along with a "combat challenge", costume pack, and (also the pre-order bonus) Towelie.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17.
