Black Panther gets stunning new trailer

Meanwhile the film's star Chadwick Boseman tweeted our first look at the poster, which you can check out below.

The Black Panther footage we've seen in the trailer hasn't shown a lot of the villainous weapons dealer Ulysses Claue (played by Andy Serkis).

Boseman made a stellar debut as the character in last year's Captain America: Civil War, and ever since then, fans have been clamoring for more information regarding his solo outing.

Black Panther opens on February 16, 2017.

Other cast members to be glimpsed in the trailer include Lupita Nyong'o, Martin Freeman and Michael B. Jordan as the film's lead villain. The first trailer, which was a little more cryptic in terms of plot details, didn't let you see as much of the action set pieces as this trailer does.

And, of course, we see T'Challa apply kingly boot to henchman ass, ripping the wheels off of cars, running up the side of buildings in downtown Seoul, and generally doing all the cool superhero stuff we come to expect.

Ryan Coogler directs Black Panther based on a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole.

Marvel Studios' "Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
