Case Keenum not thinking about Sam Bradford, Teddy Bridgewater

Case Keenum not thinking about Sam Bradford, Teddy Bridgewater

Bridgewater tweeted "thank you" Monday morning, perhaps hinting that he was cleared by a doctor (or at least expects to be cleared) at his scheduled checkup.

If the Vikings choose the earliest possible timetable, Bridgewater could be back on the practice field as soon as Wednesday, when the Vikings have their first session of the week in preparation for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Bridgewater is eligible this week to come off the physically unable to perform list.

The Minnesota Vikings will activate quarterback Teddy Bridgewater off the PUP list either this week or next week according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Bridgewater has been out for more than a year after dislocating his left knee during a non-contact drill in practice on August 30, 2016.

Remember, Bradford missed the entire 2014 season with a torn ACL.

The quarterback's rehabilitation, though, went well.

Zimmer, who has said he anticipates Bridgewater will play at some point this season, is scheduled to talk to the media on Monday afternoon.

With Sam Bradford potentially dealing with a career-threatening injury, Bridgewater's return is a welcome sight for Vikings fans, even with Case Keenum playing pretty well. Like I said, there's a lot of externals in this business, and it's your job to talk through every possibility in everything that goes on, but that's not my job, so I don't have to answer that question.
