Ed Sheeran hospitalised after bike crash

Ed Sheeran has posted an image of himself with an injured arm, amid reports he has been hit by a auto in London.

The singer is now sporting a cast on his right arm following the accident and is concerned his world tour is in jeopardy.

He told fans that his damage "may influence some of my up and coming shows" and asked fans to stay tuned for promote news.

Fifteen gigs were planned in total between now and 23 November, with the majority sold out.

Ed Sheeran is sharing some upsetting news with fans - he's been injured in a bike accident.

The world's best-selling singer was cycling around the capital when he was knocked off by a auto.

Sheeran is in the midst of his ÷ world tour and is next scheduled to perform in Taipei, Taiwan on October 22, beginning a 14-date Asian leg.

Ed's about to embark on a tour of Asia, but there is yet to be official word on whether his injury will result in any dates being cancelled.

"Ed Sheeran is about to start his Asian tour in Taipai and it ends at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena".

Sheeran is also supposed to be heading to Seoul, Tokyo, Manila, Jakarta and Singapore, among other cities in the region.

If he is given the medical all-clear and makes it, his Malaysia date will be the second time that he has performed in the country.

Sheeran's shows are known for featuring the performer front and center with nothing but an acoustic guitar, some loop pedals, and a microphone, including during his three-night run at London's Wembley Stadium in 2015.
