Up Next: Indiana visits Michigan State after almost knocking off Michigan

Michigan lost at home to Michigan State on September 30 and Jim Harbaugh's team was pushed to overtime by IN on Saturday before winning.

With the win Sunday, Penn State improves to 10-3-2 overall and 6-1-2 in Big Ten action, while Maryland falls to 7-7-2 on the year and 1-7-1 against Big Ten competition.

For the first time this season, MI is an underdog.

Penn State was a victor without stepping on the field in Week 7.

If this line holds, MI will enter this week's game as a double-digit underdog for the first time under Harbaugh. Ohio State sits atop the league with 21 points followed by Penn State (20) and Minnesota (19).

80 - Rushing yards managed by IN in its loss to MI on Saturday. Harris also has two punt return touchdowns on the year. No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 TCU and No. 5 Wisconsin rounded out the rest of the top-5. Their toughest remaining opponents, not including the Big Ten Championship Game, are at No. 6 Ohio State and at No. 18 Michigan State.

Although Penn State was idle last weekend, the Nittany Lions took advantage of the flurry of upsets in college football and rose to No. 2 in the weekly Associated Press Top 25 poll. Penn State, meanwhile, will enter Saturday's game after a bye week.
