Golmaal Again movie review: Ajay Devgn offers a laugh riot this Diwali

Rohit Shetty is back with Golmaal Again, another film in the Golmaal franchise nearly six year after the third part, Golmaal 3. The film is opened to decent talk from audience and film critics.

Starting Parineeti Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu and Tabu, the film is a horror comedy, with a heavier dose of the latter. The reception for Golmaal Again, however, has been more divided, with some people finding the movie highly entertaining and hysterical and others not being impressed with it as much.

Golmaal Again Was Released in 3,500 screens, Golmaal Again has witnessed an earth-shattering response in cinema halls across the domestic market in the morning shows. Since all the previous films of the Golmaal series were successful at the box office so the expectations from Golmaal Again are very high.

The film has embarked on a great run all across the country with certain centres in Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Bihar and Punjab recording occupancy at par the biggest Indian film of all time ie Baahubali: The Conclusion. Here is the list of top 10 openers.

The advance booking for Golmaal Again opened on Thursday afternoon and the tickets in most of the theatres were sold out within hours. The film has taken the best start for a Bollywood film this year in terms of occupancy in the morning shows and is expected to emerge as the biggest opener of the year surpassing Tubelight (Rs 21 crore). Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Serpentine queues..."

As per early trends, Golmaal Again is likely to collect over Rs 20 crore nett at the domestic box office on the first day.
