Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel's latest offering, makes film critics swoon

In the spot, Odin can be hear saying, "Asgard is not a place", to which Thor replies, "It's a people".

But this is clearly the first time that she's met either Thor or Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even Thor: Ragnarok actor, Karl Urban expressed interest in seeing the character on the big screen. Here's what he had to say about it.

"We always look back to the comics to get those ideas ... sometimes very specific storylines like "Civil War", sometimes just nuggets or characters like "Planet Hulk".

There are also speculations that Thor will receive a new weapon replacing his damaged Mjolnir, and comic fans think that it could be Jarnbjorn or Ultimate Mjolnir. And, according to Marvel Studios' head Kevin Feige, it could definitely happen.

Are you excited for the live-action debut of the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok? And the one who has held the mantle of Thor is Jane Foster, who was played by Natalie Portman in the first two Thor movies and is his former girlfriend in the current MCU continuity. Maybe she'd make a good candidate? "And especially under Taika's [direction], I think he's going to really be a fun and very kind of an elusive character".

With this being Chris Hemsworth's third Marvel film dedicated specifically to him (tying him with Robert Downey Jr.in the solo Iron Man films and Chris Evans in the Captain America films), some fans may still be wondering why Ruffalo isn't getting any solo flicks. He responds to both negative comments - such as "This looks beyond stupid" or "Another movie to pull Norse mythology in the dirt" - and positive comments like "NEW ZEALAND REPRESENT" and "This is gonna be more of a acid trip then doctor odd and i'm gonna love it". Even if he wants to continue playing the part, a change couldn't hurt come time for the next phase of the MCU.

The embargo on reviews lifted Thursday, and the Marvel movie is by and large earning raves from critics. Based on these comments to Movies.com from Kevin Feige, it's not hard to imagine that a lady Thor movie could be something we see during that next phase of the MCU.
