Rahul Gandhi leaves marriage to FATE

Mr Gandhi chose to tackle the second one first. "I believe in destiny", Gandhi who was addressing the 112th annual session of Chamber Of Commerce here, said.

An otherwise confident-looking Rahul Gandhi seemed stumped when boxer Vijender Singh asked him at an industry event Thursday, when he planned to tie the knot.

Vijender then said there was talk at his home of when "Rahul bhaiya" will get married, adding that there was a perception that getting married after becoming the Prime Minister will have a different charm. The boxer then pressed, "everybody is waiting for it".

Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi broke his silence about his marriage saying that he believes in fate and when he will be Married, it will happen suddenly. To which, Gandhi replied: "Jab hogi, hogi". He added that he was a black belt in Aikido, a form of Japanese martial art involving traditional weapons. I do sports one hour every day. This is true I have not done it in the last 3-4 months.

After this Vijender asked Rahul to upload some videos so that people would get inspired by him, to which he agreed. Mr Gandhi chuckled, "Fine.I will".

Rahul Gandhi was responding to a Q and A after making a strong pitch for his party's comeback and delivering stinging missiles at the ruling BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Gandhi said this was something he was asked frequently.

He also tore into the government over the state of the economy, describing the notes ban and the new national tax GST as "two quick shots to the chest".
