According to Congress sources, Sonia was rushed to the Delhi hospital in an air-ambulance from Shimla where she had gone for a vacation.

The 70-year-old Gandhi is suffering from a stomach upset and has been admitted for observation, the chairman of the Ganga Ram Hospital, D.S.Rana, said in a statement.

Sonia Gandhi's trip to Shimla was strictly confidential and was unrelated to Himachal Pradesh Assembly.

As per reports, this is not the first time that Sonia Gandhi was rushed back to the national capital over her ill health. Sonia Gandhi has been named as the star campaigner for the party in the state. She was discharged on August 14 and doctors treating her at the hospital had then said she had recovered from her illness and injury to the left shoulder was stable.

Himachal Pradesh will go to polls on 9 November and the results will be declared on 18 December. Nothing to worry, she's much better. Even though Congress party workers have remained shush over her ailment, Sonia also often travels to USA for her treatment.
