Alleged pictures of 'Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s' show iPhone X-like notch

Last year's original Mi Mix was a substantial departure from the company's previous phones, and its edge-to-edge screen (minus the bottom bar) made headlines worldwide. The allocated images show the claimed handset in the wild and tip a notch at the top of the handset - just like the iniquitous notch on the iPhone X.

The theme store in MIUI has plenty of options that let the users to convert their phone into an iPhone X like look.

Xiaomi has launched Mi Mix 2 a couple of months ago and now it looks like the Chinese manufacturer might be launching its successor too. And if the images are genuine, the company may not launch a new version of the Mi Mix 2 so early. Observing one of the pictures closely, it seems like the Mi Mix 2s' notch has a camera, an earpiece speaker, and a possibly an ambient light sensor. But, these images from a tipster are attributed to Mi Mix 2s.

The iPhone X is all the craze in the world of technology.

You know, Xiaomi isn't called the Apple of China for nothing. So, take this new Mi Mix 2s leak with a grain of salt and there's no confirmation from Xiaomi as of now on the Mi Mix 2s. In India, the Mi Mix 2 is retailing for Rs. 35,999, and it offers a gorgeous 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, 12MP rear camera, and a 3400mAh battery.

Xiaomi sees the iPhone X and its positive reception from consumers, and now an upgraded Mi Mix 2s could relocate the front-facing camera to a more traditional spot.
