Battlefront II Multiplayer Will Be "Adjusted"

Battlefront II Multiplayer Will Be

Nearly 3 hours of gameplay is required to buy a Trooper Crate (4000.) Right now it costs 60,000 to get a hero, so TheHotterPotato says it will take you 40 hours to buy a new hero in Star Wars Battlefront 2. You may lock up Boba Fetta and similar side characters. You're not even doing this for "Free DLC.' You're doing this for items that come in the game we just paid $60 and $80 for". If all you want to do is play and grind towards your next unlock that will be fully possible and we'll continue to tweak the numbers until the requirements feel fun and achievable.

Electronic Arts has broken its silence amid the controversy surrounding "Star Wars Battlefront II".

Characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Princess Leia - so-called "Hero" characters in the game's multiplayer mode - require in-game credits to be unlocked.

Working on a game with a live economy and without a premium content lineup is a new challenge for us at DICE. "After some discussion, we have determined that your feedback doesn't matter".

"We selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch". I sincerely hope you'll be here with us! In fact, nearly no one is taking the cheeky response to not "rebel" seriously. $5 will give you 500 Crystals and the most expensive pack ($89.99 for EA access members and $99.99 for non-EA access members) $99.99 will provide you with 1200 Crystals in the Xbox store. Previously the record was held by a user who jokingly asked for downvotes.

The number is rapidly climbing, too. A graph posted by Reddit user LouTr0n (see above), makes evident how large the downvotes have become and how much it trumps any previous unpopular Reddit post.

With the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date just a few days away, fans have discovered the true cost of unlocking hero characters like Darth Vader. This is one of the worst cases of micro-transactions in an AAA game in quite awhile.

The game's maker, EA, issued a statement in response that only made fans angrier.

It's good news that they're already planning to adjust the rates as they go, but there's no guarantee they'll be much more reasonable than the roughly 40 hours of play now required to attain a single hero-all while not making any other in-game purchases to slow down the process.

The post explained that the intent was to "provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes".
