LeBron James, Cavaliers ride the subway before game against Knicks

James asked Kyle Korver, who was sat in the next seat over.

As New York attempts to improve to 8-5, however, one of the tallest tasks to date is standing in front of it: A motivated Cleveland Cavaliers team.

LeBron and the Cavaliers hopped on public transportation following a shootaround before their game against the Knicks Monday night.

James and the team documented the trip on video. "Subwayman" who got angry at LeBron James for filming him.

The reason the Cavs made a decision to take the train rather than the bus was a traffic jam caused their buses to shootaround to be late and it was going to take 45 minutes to get back that way, or less than 10 by the train.

"KP gon get y'all tonight bruh", the fan says.

"We'll see what happens toward the end of the year and once we get to the playoffs and things like that, but, I knew they were going to be good", he said.

LeBron James narrated most of the video, confirming it was his first time taking the subway in NY and second time overall.

"Trying to be like real citizens man", Smith said to the camera.

Another video was shown on the NBA's Instagram showing the team walking the streets of the city back to the hotel following their train ride.

Ironically enough, the Knicks will now battle James and the Cavaliers on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
