$70000 Raised For Cyclist Who Was Fired For Giving Trump The Finger

A cyclist who got fired from her job for making a rude gesture to the United States President Donald Trump's motorcade raised more than Dollars 70,000 in donations into a crowdfunding site set up.

Juli Briskman found short-lived anonymous notoriety when a photo was taken of her from behind as she rode on her bike next to the President's motorcade the weekend before Halloween, clearly telling 45 that he's number 1.

"I really wasn't going to talk about this until I remembered the fellow that I actually flagged to the company that he had written very obscene things in someone else's conversation on Facebook", Briskman told Megyn Kelly in an interview on NBC.

Juli Briskman was on her bicycle last month when Trump's motorcade drove by her on a northern Virginia road.

She previously said that when Trump's motorcade passed her it was her initial reaction to flip the bird.

When campaigning for president, Trump had promised that he wouldn't be golfing if elected, The New York Times reported.

Although Briskman's gesture went viral and made her something of a hero to Trump-haters, her employer was not amused.

While the ample funds raised through the GoFundMe may tide Briskman over for a while, she'll eventually need a job, and pornography and social media company XHamster hopes she'll end up with them.

A fan named Rob Mello responded by starting the GoFundMe campaign.

Organizers posted that "Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all".

Days after her exit from her firm, government contractor Akima LCC, a crowdfunding page was set up to show support for the single mom.

"I think we have a big problem in this country", she said to the audience's applause.
