Eve joins The Talk as new co-host

Musician and actress Eve has been unveiled as a new permanent host of CBS' "The Talk", joining Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

Eve makes her official debut on The Talk on Tuesday, November 14th on CBS. She was a guest co-host on the chat show for the week of October 30. "The great success of The Talk is due to the undeniable chemistry and bond of friendship between the hosts".

The artist, whose real name is Eve Jeffers Cooper, is replacing Aisha Tyler, who recently left "The Talk" to concentrate on her directing and acting career.

"I'm looking forward to being able to showcase my personality in a way that people have never seen before", she adds. However, in an effort to find a replacement for Tyler, the series saw stars like Shemar Moore, Chris O'Donnell, Eric Christian Olsen and Wilmer Valderrama fill in the host chair temporarily.

As detailed by a video compilation shared on The Talk, Eve brings with her years of experience in the music and entertainment industry. Her face plastered on screens, Eve then walked out to her 2001 collaboration with Gwen Stefani, "Let Me Blow Ya Mind", as confetti rained down on the stage. I started recording a few months ago.

"I've watched the show and the one thing that I liked about it is that all the women are all genuine", she says. This opportunity came and it's something new, something exciting.

Eve said when she was first approached about the new gig, she thought it was ideal but admitted that she had to think about it.
