Daily Cheese Consumption Can Significantly Reduce the Heart Disease Risk

As per the reports, the study claimed,"consumption of cheese on daily basis can reduce fatal heart attacks and strokes".

However, it's not all good news because 40 grams of cheese is actually not that much. Cheese is a wellspring of vitamins, minerals that are essential to body to prevent from diseases.

Get that cheese-platter ready for your next get together because other than the fact that cheese is life, new research has revealed it's good for your heart.

Writing in the European Journal of Nutrition, the authors of the latest study said: 'Cheese contains saturated fatty acids but also has potentially beneficial nutrients.

"It's unclear how long-term consumption affects the development of cardiovascular disease".

The process could help regulate the hormone insulin, which controls blood sugar levels, and prevent the body from producing excess fat which commonly triggers diabetes and heart disease.

And though not eating breakfast may be thought to induce weight loss, as promoted by British actress Joanna Lumley, the study published in the Journal of Physiology says otherwise.

Scientists at Reading University said their findings questioned years of public health advice on limiting dairy foods intake.

They found eating cheese frequently appeared to be beneficial for the heart rather than harmful.

'While it is a widely held belief, our research shows that that's wrong'. Previously it was possible to hear statements that is rich in fat and cholesterol cheese - not too useful product. This is why the British Heart Foundation advises heart disease patients to forgo cheese and replace it with yogurt or milk.

Similarly, the research also didn't take into account people who have drastically altered their diets over time so it's probably likely that those who were eating the 40 grams of cheese were just healthier in general.
