Liverpool vs. Spartak Moscow

Brewster, an England Under 17 global, was visibly angry and had to be restrained by teammates and coaching staff towards the end of Liverpool's 2-0 victory over the Russian team at Prenton Park.

The forward had informed referee Mohammed Al-Hakim of the allegations during the second half of the game at Tranmere Rovers' Prenton Park and those details were passed onto the fourth official.

Liverpool's Under 19 coach Steven Gerrard was one of those to calm Brewster down after the incident, and later added that the club would be looking at what had happened. It's something that the club will look into and deal with. The make-shift left-back then whipped in a cracking ball to the back post, finding the in-coming Mane.

Their complaint is understood to concern a matter of racist abuse.

Back in September, Nigeria-born forward Bobby Adekanye was subjected to racist chants and monkey gestures from Spartak supporters in the reverse fixture in Russian Federation.

Brewster was outstanding as England claimed the Under-17 World Cup in India earlier this year, scoring eight goals during the tournament to win the Golden Boot for top goalscorer.
