California sheriffs have found Corey Feldman's 1993 recorded testimony naming Hollywood pedophiles

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has found tapes from 1993 that allegedly contain Corey Feldman's information about Hollywood pedophilia.

Feldman started his Truth Campaign to share his story and stop a Hollywood pedophile ring that has been going on for decades, which he and Corey Haim fell victim to as child stars in the 1980s.

Former child-actor Corey Feldman came forward in October claiming to have recorded the information for the Sherrif's Office during their investigation into molestation charges against Michael Jackson.

The Sheriff's Office initially denied Feldman's claims but have now confirmed they have located the audio of what Feldman was referring to. "A copy of Mr. Feldman's interview was located", a sheriff's spokesperson told Fox News via email Wednesday.

"Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release", the statement concluded.

"If anyone wants to go back to 1993 when I was interviewed by the Santa Barbara Police Department, I sat down and I gave them the names", Feldman said on the "Today" show. "They're on record. They have all this information". He has claimed on multiple occasions that he knows the identities of multiple predators in the industry and threatened to reveal all their names.

In the statement the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office stopped short of confirming the contents of the audio tapes.

More recently, the sheriff's office said they didn't have any record of Feldman naming a suspect in his allegation that he was sexually assaulted.

Feldman has spoken publicly about these allegations, and has even named some of his alleged abusers.

Feldman, who starred in such '80s classics as Goonies and Stand by Me, said in previous interviews that a pedophile ring existed within the business, but he refused to name names - that is until the Harvey Weinstein scandal completely upended Hollywood.

On Twitter, Feldman celebrated this new news, saying that it was time for the LAPD to re-open the case against the men he says abused him.

It's not clear whether Santa Barbara's belated discovery of a 24-year-old audio recording of detectives' interview of Feldman will change anything.
