Derrick Rose apologizes to Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have managed to get back to their dominant ways despite being ravaged by injuries early on in the 2017-18 National Basketball Association season. Rose, a player who very much needs the ball in his hands, might be an awkward fit on the roster once he's back at 100 percent.

Furthermore, the recent turmoil surrounding point guard Derrick Rose's latest injury has seemingly come to a close with the former MVP reportedly interested in returning to the team.

There is no timetable on when he'll play.

"This has been a very challenging and hard time for Derrick", general manager Koby Altman said. While we don't know for sure if he'll ever suit up for a game again, it sounds like he's back with the organization at least while he recovers from an ankle injury.

The 29-year-old ultimately returned to the team Monday, and the Cavaliers announced at the time he would "resume the treatment and rehabilitation process for his left ankle injury" in order to make a successful return to the floor. We're just glad that he's in a good place right now. "We will continue to provide him with support and have patience as he re-joins his teammates and works his way back on to the court", Cavaliers General Manager Koby Altman said. Perhaps Rose would best be suited on a team where he can assuredly see solid minutes on a nightly basis. With Isaiah Thomas set to return as early as this month, there's thought that Wade could return to the starting lineup and IT could run the second unit.

Cleveland has surged toward the top of the Eastern Conference after a rough start and have won 11 games in a row.

Watch as this Bulls fan heckles James on a multitude of subjects, including bringing up both Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose. All we want is him to be happy and be back and that's great news for us and for him.
